Jeff and the 7v? Well we don't know. Jeff said he's
taking some time off.

Big Daddy Roy
Takes Us On Another Field Trip
This time we went
to Selinsgrove Speedway. The team packed up and the
caravan went north. At this track they run
transponders on the cars to get lap times and for
scoring. Jeff went out for warm-ups and did not look
to bad. Roy and the crew went to work on the car.
Come time trial time Jeff went out 4th and set a
time of 18.514 sec.
with an avg. speed
of 102.979. But that was only 15th fastest. Roy and
Jeff went to work on the car looking for more speed.
Working till the last minute before the heat race.
Jeff started the heat 2nd and finished 3rd. Roy and
Jeff went looking for more speed again as the track
was changing thru the night. The 7v started 14th in
the feature and Jeff was racing hard but it was
clear this was not going to be a night were Jeff
would fly up thru the pack. He was racing hard and
was able to pass a few cars when on lap 19 Jeff get
into a car that spun just in front of him. Jeff
relined up last and was able to come home to the
finish in 12th spot. Jeff raced his butt off but the
car just did not have the speed that you need for
there. Our little short track motor would need some
work to run on them big tracks. At tracks like
Selinsgrove you are pedal down the whole way around
the track. You don't lift. If we ran there
each week I am sure Roy and Jeff would get it
figured out.

The Possum Does It
Again
It was our night
at Trailways to celebrate the track title. And there
was a race also. It was a pill draw night and Jeff picked
a #3. Giving him the poll in his heat. Jeff
started the7v on the poll and finished first. They had a redraw
for the first 12 starting spots and Jeff picked 7.
On the start of the feature Jeff made some moves and
was up to 4th by lap 3. from there we worked his way
to the front and once again won the feature the guys
that ran 2nd thru 5th were all racing together they
never pressured Jeff much at all. That
win gave him 7 for the year all at Trailways. Along
with 15 top 3's out of 16 races. Great Job Jeff and
Crew
